Churupampa “La Lima”

High in the Andes of Chirinos, Cajamarca, the Tocto family has built Finca Churupampa, a pioneering model of circular and regenerative agriculture. Their mission goes beyond producing great coffee: they work directly with over 160 farming families, offering agronomic training, quality‑control support, and incentives that help each producer reinvest in their land and improve their livelihoods.

The Churupampa project emphasizes organic cultivation, compost made on‑farm, careful harvesting, and precise slow drying. Many lots—including La Lima—are produced using no chemical inputs, and the farm is recognised as certified organic, often paying producers well above Fairtrade minimums for their work

This washed microlot from La Lima showcases everything Churupampa stands for: clean processing, careful lot separation, and a focus on cup quality. The result is an elegant, bright coffee with floral notes, citrus acidity, and a natural sweetness, making it ideal for filter brewing.

La Lima is more than a good coffee — it’s the expression of a community committed to soil health, transparent trade, and long‑term sustainability and that is why we want to share it with you.
